A New Season Has Come
Spring 2022 ministry update…
Hear vision for our new season, from our President, Jeff Siegel.
Dear friends,
The off-season for athletes is no time for sitting around and becoming a couch potato. For a finely tuned athlete, the off-season is an opportunity to get stronger, faster, and better than before so when the season begins again, that athlete is poised for peak performance.
The same is true for ministry.
Just because the doors of opportunity are shut for a time, doesn't mean we stop training, preparing, and getting ready for when they open again. The worldwide pandemic created an unforeseen off-season for Go Global Ministries, but it was no time for sitting around. It's been a time of preparation for us so that when the doors to ministry reopen, we'll be ready for opening day.
In Paul's letter to Timothy, he encourages him:
"I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season...always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." (2 Timothy 4:2,5)
In the last six months, we have gone through a process of clarifying our mission and messaging to truly hone in on what God has called us to do. We have also made significant changes to our organizational structure and added to our team internationally so we can be more effective and be able to respond in this changing world.
What started out as a sports outreach ministry called Global Sports Federation has grown into so much more. As we have gone into countries to share the gospel through sports, we saw even greater needs we knew we could meet. From providing medical care to creating a logistical division where crucial humanitarian aid could be delivered to those in need, we knew God was expanding our ministry.

A new season has come.
It's opening day, and we're ready.
We have changed our name to Go Global Ministries which better reflects who we are and what we do.
We live to make disciples of Christ and we are impacting the globe through sports, medical care, and humanitarian aid transport.
But with a new name comes the challenge of rebranding and getting the word out about who we are and what we do. And though we have a new name, branding, web presence, social media plan, and renewed vision, one thing remains the same – our commitment to reaching people with the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
We've also revamped our website for Burning Bush Ministries and have renewed our commitment to bring God's message of salvation to the Jewish people dispersed across the four corners of the globe.
We are positioned in the right places across the globe and the Lord has brought together the right team. We have increasingly become involved in meeting physical needs so that we could have greater opportunities to meet spiritual needs.
God has always been looking for partners to join in His work around the world.
The need for the gospel message to reach the ends of the earth through sports, medical care, and humanitarian aid transport has never been greater. Through all of these means, we are making disciples.
We know you want to be a part of an organization that is ready and prepared to take advantage of every opportunity for ministry.
That's why we're asking you to consider partnering with us financially as we launch into this new season of ministry.

Here is a quick list of where we are going just this year. There are opportunities for you to join us in prayer, give toward these efforts, or come with us on one of the trips.
Cuba - We've expanded our connections throughout the country with more than 100 house churches. We have the opportunity to assist with medical personnel and deliver medicine, theological training, humanitarian aid, and quality sports ministry.
Philippines - We will be engaging in city-to-city national revival preaching, sports ministry conferences, medical outreach, and pastoral training. It is critical to have resources as we'll be in front of thousands of leaders across the country, bringing teaching and making disciples.
Dominican Republic - This trip will be engaging in evangelism throughout local villages, food distribution, and outreach through baseball and softball camps.
Israel and Greece - As we walk in the footsteps of Jesus and the Apostle Paul, there will be training on how to make disciples among the Jewish people. We are looking forward to returning trips for sports evangelism, medical outreach, humanitarian aid, and ministry to Holocaust survivors.
Argentina - This trip includes basketball training programs for youth and their coaches as well as providing them with necessary equipment. As we go we will be making disciples among the Jewish community in Argentina.
In the great commission, Jesus gave the command to GO and MAKE DISCIPLES.
Go Global Ministries is ready to do just that. As you can see, we are positioning ourselves to have maximum impact for the gospel. We believe the call is not to sit around and ride the bench but to get in the game.
In 2020 and 2021, we helped send over $70,000 to fund ministry activities around the world. In just the first few months of 2022, we've raised another $30,000 to send a container of humanitarian supplies to Cuba. It's about to leave our coast and arrive on the shores of Cuba in the next couple of weeks.
This amounts to over $100,000 raised and faithfully sent. Every dollar raised is accounted for and was assigned to help those in need.
I have been meeting every Thursday morning over Zoom, teaching solid doctrine, praying for immediate needs, and encouraging church leaders in the Philippines, Pakistan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Italy, South Korea, and Hong Kong to name just a few. By the time you read this, I will have landed in the Philippines and will be spending the next two months developing relationships with ministry partners to open doors for future ministry efforts. A great revival is coming to the Philippines and now extending to additional Asian nations. The beauty and blessing is getting to take these online relationships and now work with leaders face to face.

The doors are now open.
A new season has come.
It's time to go to the countries that need Jesus.
I have asked our leadership team and Board of Directors to raise $100,000 to fund our ministry efforts for this year.
I’m asking you to join this effort.
I've never been more clear about the mission ahead of us and never more empowered to lead this ministry into all that God has for us. I'm asking you to prayerfully consider making a generous financial gift to help support this work. We are committed to being good stewards of the financial resources entrusted to us and will use them wisely to maximum impact.
Pray about how you can join us in this work, through prayer, going on a trip, and giving financially. Your partnership will enable us to see lives transformed and have a greater impact to build the Kingdom of God around the globe.
Your brother in Jesus,
Jeff Siegel
